Chris “Danish” Andersen

Cinematographer, Director of Photography

Born in Germany to American parents, Chris Andersen has a manly Danish bloodline. Educated entirely in Las Vegas, Nevada; he holds a bachelors of fine arts from University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a major in film. He was able to get a job in one of the only lighting and grip
rental houses in Vegas, JR lighting. It was there he honed his craft as a cinematographer with the help of some good friends with plenty of
creative ideas. It was with his friends he received the moniker “Danish” (on account of the lineage and all). He currently works as a freelance electrician, and is a significant member of the Somnium Productions family. Danish has served as Director of Photography on several films: Three Years Six Months, Bubblegum & Broken Fingers, Sweet Ninja Brown and Cunning Linguist. In 2009, along with partner Mitch Ebert, Danish formed Gorilla Suit Productions. Their first project was Cunning Linguist which he co-wrote with Ebert. Film is all Danish wants to do, and nothing can stop him.
